Return and Refund Policy

At Sturgeon County Kennels, we stand behind what we sell. If something is not the right fit, we will work with you to make it right, within the guidelines below.

This policy applies to retail purchases made online for pickup and in store purchases, unless stated otherwise.

Return window

You may request a return or exchange within 30 days of purchase.

To be eligible for a return

Returned items must be:

  • Unused and in original condition

  • In original packaging (when applicable)

  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation)

How refunds are issued

If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method.

If you do not have proof of purchase, we may issue store credit at the lowest recorded price for that item within the past 14 months.

Store credit may also be issued in situations where a refund is not available or not appropriate.

Non returnable items and exceptions

The following items are not eligible for a refund:

  • Raw food, frozen products, and other perishable items
    Returns are issued as store credit only due to food safety concerns, even if the packaging is unopened.

  • Clearance and final sale items
    Not refundable.

  • Special orders
    Not refundable.

  • Gift cards
    Not refundable.

Damaged or defective items

If an item is defective or damaged, contact us as soon as possible and we will help.

Depending on the product and the issue, we may offer an exchange, replacement, refund, or store credit.

Exchanges

Exchanges may be available for defective or damaged items, or where an exchange is the best resolution.

Please contact us first so we can confirm availability.

Returns for online orders

Online orders are pickup only. Returns are handled in person at our facility.

Bring your item and your receipt or order confirmation email.

Return shipping

We do not ship orders. If you choose to return an item by mail for any reason, you are responsible for shipping costs and shipping charges are not refundable.

Price match

We price match eligible items at the time of sale. Price matching is subject to product availability and verification.
