Paw Points Rewards Program Terms

Paw Points is our rewards program for pet specialty retail purchases at Sturgeon County Kennels. By creating an account, earning points, or redeeming points, you agree to these Paw Points Rewards Program Terms.

How to join

You can join by creating an online account on our website. Once your account is created, you are automatically enrolled in Paw Points.

How you earn Paw Points

Shop with us

You earn 10 Paw Points for every $1 spent on eligible purchases.
Points are earned on the pre tax, after discount purchase amount, unless we state otherwise.
Points are added to your account after your purchase is completed.

Create an account

You may receive 3,000 Paw Points for creating an account, if this offer is active at the time you sign up.

Engage with us on social media

From time to time, you may earn bonus points for actions such as:
• Liking our Facebook page
• Following us on Instagram
• Following us on TikTok

These actions are currently set at 2,000 Paw Points each, but bonus amounts and available actions may change or end at any time.

We may offer other limited time or bonus earning opportunities. Any such offers will be described where they are advertised and may change or end at any time.

Eligible and ineligible purchases

Paw Points are generally earned on pet specialty retail products. Some purchases may be excluded, including:
• Gift cards
• Taxes and fees
• Shipping or delivery charges
• Discounts, coupons, and promotional adjustments
• Returns, refunds, and canceled orders
• Kennel and boarding services, unless we clearly state that they are eligible
• Any other items we specifically exclude from time to time

If an order is returned or refunded, any points earned from that purchase may be removed from your account.

Redeeming Paw Points

Paw Points can be redeemed on eligible purchases in store or online, subject to any minimum redemption amounts or restrictions in effect at the time of redemption.

Current examples of reward tiers include:
• 5,000 Paw Points = $5 off
• 10,000 Paw Points = $10 off
• 20,000 Paw Points = $20 off
• 48,000 Paw Points = $50 off
• 95,000 Paw Points = $100 off

Reward values and the number of Paw Points needed to redeem them may change over time. Some rewards may only be redeemable online or only in store. Details for each reward will be shown in your Paw Points panel.

Kennel stay redemptions: Paw Points may be used toward kennel stays when the redemption value is at least $100, subject to availability and any restrictions in effect at the time.

Points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Referral rewards

We also offer referral rewards through the Paw Points panel:
• You can share your personal referral link with friends by email or social media, or by copying and pasting the link.
• When your friend uses that link, they will be taken to our store and prompted to enter their email to receive a $10 off coupon for their first order.
• Once your friend completes a purchase using their referral coupon, the referral is considered successful. You will then receive your own $10 off coupon as a referral reward.

Referral rewards are subject to these terms and any other rules shown in the referral section of the Paw Points panel. Attempts to game the referral system are not allowed.

Points expiration

Paw Points expire after 12 months of non use.

Non use means there has been no qualifying activity on your account, such as earning points or redeeming points, during that 12 month period.

Once points expire, they are removed from your account and cannot be reinstated.

Account responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining access to your account and keeping your contact information up to date. We are not responsible for lost points due to outdated account information or misuse of your account.

Abuse, fraud, and program integrity

We may suspend or terminate participation in Paw Points, remove points, cancel rewards, or refuse redemption if we believe there has been abuse, fraud, or misuse of the program. This includes, but is not limited to:
• Attempts to earn or redeem points in a way that is inconsistent with these terms
• Creating multiple accounts for the same person
• Self referrals
• Any other activity that we consider unreasonable or improper

Program changes and termination

We may change, suspend, or end Paw Points at any time, with or without notice, including changes to:
• Earning rates
• Redemption rates
• Eligible products
• Bonus offers
• Referral rewards
• Minimum redemption thresholds
• Expiration rules

If the program ends, you may lose unused points and unused rewards.
