About our Kennel & Store!

Sturgeon County Kennels is a family owned & operated luxury dog boarding facility and pet supply store. Since June 2005 we’ve provided premium pet hospitality services and are the go-to pet resort north of Edmonton. Our customers know we bring our love of animals to offer the highest standards of care & commitment for you and your fur babies. If you have not yet been to the acreage and toured the kennel – then please feel free to swing by during business hours to check out our facility. No appointment necessary!

What are the Kennels like?

We feature spacious, custom built kennels with indoor and outdoor runs for dogs to either lounge in the sun or come inside to unwind. Our heated floors stay warm throughout Alberta’s cold months and are cleaned every day. We want your dog to have a safe, hygienic, and fun stay!

Will my dog be socialized?

We have 4 play areas of various sizes for dogs to explore, exercise, and enjoy. With permission, we socialize dogs of similar size and temperament to play & enjoy one another’s company. And of course safety is our #1 priority, so socializing is always supervised.

We welcome all dogs to be our guest so visit us today and tour the kennel – no appointment necessary!

About the Pet Supply Store

We've always had a passion for animals and finding ways to make them happy. In 2020 we had to introduce the pet store to try and survive the global pandemic. Our awesome SCK family supported the local store from its humble beginnings and it has developed into a fully stocked premium pet supply store in the heart of Sturgeon County!
